about

This track is about family and ancestors, with a slight twist. While trying to portray a happy feel to the lyrics, I have looked at how we cannot communicate with our ancestors to gain answers. We don’t know whether there is anything after death but i’ve put it as if there is and they outright keep secrets for themselves. Then one day as you grow old and die, you too become this way as you join the line of ancestry.

lyrics

Our descendants dedication
Their names unknown
Inquire as you please
You shall not hear them if you ever read their tale
You'll ask more questions than they'll care to answer

An ancestor values a secret for itself
The congenial exercise of keeping it
These engaging images will meddle with your dreams
What was once sadness is now a pleasant reminder

As the sun shines down upon the summit of the hills
Here begins your story of many adventures to come as time goes by...

As time goes by you'll become this callous being that you once questioned
For someone who craved these things
You thought you would be different but the journey changes you
To become one the same
You emit sorrow upon your departure
They can reminisce all of the laughter and the good times as you now lose it all

Becoming so indifferent
To come from a background much resilient
Now they unbosom their curious minds to you
You turn a blind eye
Just as you witnessed in the past
They'll show animosity and endure
You will object that you are innocent
For what is a brief transition to the depth
No room for remorse in the darkness of hell

about

HARBINGER London, UK

Underpinning righteous fury with thick, groove-laden riffs, anthemic choruses and shredding guitar solos, Harbinger package high-minded concepts and techniques with primitive savagery and raw heaviness. Backed by big riffs, untamed heaviness and technicality, Harbinger are pushing the boundaries of modern metal, but with a lot of consideration and respect for the foundations and roots of the genre ... more
